The mighty Speedy Sharp still lives!
Me and 3 other guys on a high voltage crew each bought one in 2002 or 2003 to sharpen our hook knives (in 30 seconds) we used to skin very large electrical cable with a copper wrap....always dulled our blades. That was 22 ish years ago and my original is chipped on one side, but still sharpens good knife blades like a champ! I unvield that old thing to my current electrical buddies and it blew their minds! So I bought 2 more for Doug and I, and Miguel bought 3 for him and gave me one. My dad used to make hunting knives with military saw blades...you can shave your cheeks with them! The Speedy Shape I used the honing side on his skinning knife and good lord that thing is SHARP! Just like his marble stones but 10x faster. Every craftsmen, hunter, or fisherman ,etc, needs a Speedy Sharp! I even resurface the cutting edges on my Klein electrical tools. I used to charge 5 bucks to do our Klein side cutters, diagonals, and Wiss tin snips. Klein and Wiss are the best money can buy for their application. Read more
