The media could not be loaded. Decent lighter, love a few things about it but also has a few issues for my IMO. The main thing for me is that when using it for 30 seconds or more the metal piece that you push down to use it gets hot to the touch to the point I can’t pick it up. I have to switch back and forth between the two every time I use it so that I don’t burn my thumb. Secondly the fuel tank goes very very fast and I have to refill it at least once a day leading me to believe it has a very small fuel tank, but it is a quadruple jet lighter after all. Other than that it’s very reliable, the only thing is that when you’re adjusting the flame it’s very sensitive. But it ignites just about every time and the flame stays steady in both temperature and length and it seems to be made out of high-quality materials. I replaced an expensive (to me, at the time) single-flame lighter from 20-years ago. I loved it and it served me well. I'm older now and have other things I must spend money on, so figured I'd give this torch a spin. It's awesome looking, with heft and dimension that fits my hand nicely - much better than the skinnier lighter it replaced. It is well made for the cost: to me, it doesn't feel anywhere near a $9 torch ($18 for 2). I don't know how it gets the heft at the price, but I'm thrilled. But I need to say, QUAD FLAMES is quite the flex!. I wasn't really buying into the marketing until I lit my first smoke, I was like..."YESSIR". It lit my well-cultivated Padron with ease...after 10-seconds I looked at my reflection in a window and saw a perfect and exquisitely even circle completely filled in with reddish/orange embers. QUAD FLAMES, YESSIR!! The punch cutter is cleverly concealed with easy access on the bottom of torch; however, I did not get a perfectly severed punch - maybe 7.5 out of 10. Could be due to fact it was my first time using this torch, or maybe the 'drinkin' whiskey in the dark while trying to light a smoke'. I wasn't upset, it took no extra effort to simply pick off the barely-hanging-on piece. The old $200 single flame lighter I was replacing had a very aggressive punch cutter: a 10 out of 10 that if not fully disengaged I'd be at risk of an ouchy. You won't see any of this type of hype language in my past reviews; I influence nothing. But it's a joy to buy a non-necessity for <$20 and have zero expectations -- and then getting LIT with this great QUAD FLAME excitement. Sure, matches and my front teeth would work...but I'm so happy with this purchase. I suggest you give it a try. Read more
