I bought the ones with the 3.5mm headphone jack - it ain't broke, so why fix it? I've seen a lot of reviews saying they don't look like the picture or you need to press the buttons down hard - mine look exactly like the picture and the buttons are easy. I thought that maybe because I didn't see a hole for the microphone in the images here on the website that maybe it was a render, and then when I got them, I still didn't see it. So, I was concerned. It turned out I didn't need to be - I made phone calls on these well, and, while the voice recording was substantially worse quality than the microphone built into the phone, through some poking I did figure out that the microphone is somewhere in the remote control thing. Where? I don't know. But it works great and it doesn't pick up a lot of extraneous noise. Nice! These are a bit bigger than the similarly designed Apple headphones, but that's okay - I found they fit very comfortably in my ears and I had no issues with them falling out. I used them while mowing the lawn - pardon the photos where everything is pretty dirty. The cord length is longer than normal - about 4 feet - which is good. I am very tall so I am able to use these with my phone in my pocket in my pants, and not stuck in my breast pocket like with 39 inch cords. Thank goodness! The sound quality is fine. Not bassy, a bit high in treble and mids, but it's okay. Definitely listenable. Definitely for $10! These, being 3.5mm, are compatible with all reasonable phones - the ones that continue to have the 3.5mm jack. I used these with my T-Mobile Revvl something or other - it's made by Wingtech. What I say: I am attaching 4 pictures to this review, so you can see how it arrived packaged, what the ear buds look like, and more. You get two for the low price. I do not see that often. The buds are a little too big for teens, but fit my adult ears just fine. Comfortable. The cord is long enough for everything I do. The functionality and sound quality is not top of the line, but I can hear calls fine. In my opinion, they are not good enough for those who want to hear the deeper tones of music. Instructions are included and they are very easy to use. As usual, if I have any trouble with this item I will come back and add an "edit" to the end of this review to warn potential buyers. This is a very basic set of wired earbuds, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. They work, the sound is fine for everyday listening, and having two pairs included is convenient. When I was able to get them positioned correctly, the audio quality was perfectly acceptable — nothing special, but clear enough for music, podcasts, or audiobooks. The issue for me was comfort and fit. These are hard‑style earbuds, and I’ve never had great luck with that design in general. They tend to either feel uncomfortable or not quite sit right in my ears, and that was the case here as well. With these in particular, they seemed to rotate slightly once in my ear, so the speaker portion wasn’t fully aligned. That made them uncomfortable for me to wear for any length of time, especially in my left ear. I don’t think this is a defect — more a slightly different shape than the standard hard earbuds I’m used to. Since they didn’t work well for me, I had someone else try them. That person also noticed the shape felt a bit “different,” but didn’t find them uncomfortable and was able to use them without issue, mainly for listening to audiobooks. From that perspective, they do what they’re supposed to do. I think these could be a good option if you already like hard‑style earbuds and don’t have fit sensitivity. If you know you struggle with that type of earbud, these probably aren’t the best choice. They function as intended and sound fine, but the fit wasn’t right for me, and comfort will likely vary from person to person. Three stars. Read more
