I bought these and one other pair of earplugs to test, since I lost my Loop earplugs and I’m not willing to buy another pair (I’m certain they’re still in my house) but I do need earplugs to manage my migraines, and I thought it would be good to have a few cheap extra pairs. The other pair was a bit of a dud, but I love these! For one thing, the “Christmas tree” shaped tips are so nice. I was worried because I’d tried earplugs with similar tips once and hated them, but I guess those were just uncomfortable earplugs. These are super comfy for me, and give a better seal than the standard tips. And the tips fit snugly on the earplugs without shifting around. The case isn’t amazing, but it’s pretty good, I’m pretty sure it’ll stay closed, but I’m worried about the plastic being a little flimsy – It makes me a little nervous that the earplugs just rattle around loose in there, so I’m glad they included the little carabiner thing to put through the holes as an option, but I’ll probably be using the case from my other earplugs if I leave the house with these. (These earplugs do not fit in a Loop case, if you’re wondering. I was! They don’t quite fit the Loop mute inserts either, the hole is just barely too small, but if you really want a quieter option, you might be able to use knockoffs made with a thinner and squishier silicone. But the potential amount of trial and error to get some that fit does not sound worth it, honestly. They’re very quiet on their own, but I got lucky to end up with a pair of inserts that’s a little squishier that I can use with these on my first try, and sometimes I really do need it quiet like that.) If the case these came with does break, I guess I’ll come back and edit this (and probably drop a star). The earplug leash is a nice idea, but it’s mostly just uncomfortable and distracting. It gets in the way when I’m putting in the earplugs, and then every time it brushes against anything it’s incredibly loud. But I’m not going to deduct points for that, the leash is an extra as far as I’m concerned. My one other complaint is that the silicone makes it kind of hard to get the earplugs situated in your ear, but it’s a pretty hard silicone so that’s not a huge concern, just something to keep in mind if you’re used to hard plastic. It’ll be an adjustment, but these aren’t too ridiculously squishy. I considered giving four stars because of the case and the fact that they’re a little finnicky to actually get in your ears, but honestly, for the price, the extra pair, and the number of tip options? I’ll give it five. I really like these earplugs. Read more
These work remarkably well for the low price. Were perfect for tuning out background sounds while on vacation. Also used at a concert and could hear the music and vocals very well without experiencing noise damage or ringing/muffled hearing the next day. I keep them in my daily bag just in case a public environment is too loud or if I get a migraine while out. Nice secure fit and comfortable to wear for extended periods. Might be too stiff to wear to bed. Read more
I got these because the price of other brands was absolutely out of range. I'm so glad I did! I got 2 for the price of 1 of the other brand. They're comfortable and I haven't had problems with them falling out. They block a lot of sound without being too muffled. I wouldn't use them for a concert or anything, but I do use themto block higher frequencies and loud noises at work discreetly. I will say, I wish the case for them was better. That part is less good, and I've ended up keeping them in my own holder for them, that isn't prone to popping open. One thing that isn't necessarily a flaw of these, but just the case, is that if you drop them, they're pretty much just gone for good. Read more
I have purchased dozens of different ear plugs over the years and these are my favorite and my go-to. They block sound great and I really like the color. You get 2 sets of ear buds, 2 types of tips, and different sizes to choose from. However, you only get 1 set of large tips. I prefer the large tips because they block out more noise for me. Since you get 2 sets of ear plugs, you should get 2 sets of large tips to go with them. That’s my only complaint, but not a deal breaker, as I have been a repeat customer. I also like that they come with an option to connect them with the cord. I found this to be helpful when sleeping, so on the rare occasion one falls out, it doesn’t get lost. Some of the things I use them for are sleeping, as I am an extremely light sleeper, everything wakes me up. I can’t sleep without them. I also use them to block out excess noise while working, which helps me concentrate. I also use them daily while in my bird room, as I have a lot of parrots who are excessively loud. I recommend these. They are well made and let a long time. Read more
These block noise but the plastic parts hurt my ear cartilage when I try to sleep with them in. Read more
I bought these because I thought I lost my “Loop” earbuds and I couldn’t justify buying another $50 pair of earplugs. These are SOOOOOOO WORTH IT. (I found the “lost pair”, lol) — in comparing them; I would definitely recommend these! They basically do the same thing. The two notable benefits with the Loop brand is that you have the option of changing how much you can hear because you can switch modes and the decibel range is a bit better; only by a few decibels — If you don’t really care about those functions, save your coins and get this. And you get two pair!? A win! Very sleek and stylish and the quality is amazing! Read more
These work well and come with different plug sizes. I use these to keep my sanity when my kids are loud and they're wonderful. Read more
Bought these specifically for sleeping, tried then out as soon as they arrived. Unfortunately no matter which tips I used, they did little to nothing to block or even reduce sound. I could still hear all the normal suburban chatter - my neighbor's dog barking, cars passing by, etc. I could even still hear my own dog breathing a few feet away. Two stars because they've very comfortable and fit in my ears well. I have piercings that usually prevent earbuds and earplugs from sitting comfortably so this was a nice surprise. They do reduce noise very minimally and I could see them being useful for public spaces where there's just too much background noise to focus on a task, but definitely not for blocking out sudden or loud noises while sleeping.
