I got the 4-pack version. It comes with four lock cylinders, two keys, one master key. One needs to use the master key to install or remove lock cylinders. In my first attempt, I wasn't able to use the cylinder for my Thule lock mechanism because the cylinder does not sit flush to the housing. As a result, the cylinder would not stay in place when I turn its key to lock position. The cylinder would simply slide out of its housing. After comparing my existing Thule OEM lock cylinder (darker one in the picture), I noticed that the circumference of non-OEM cylinder is just a little larger than the OEM. As a result, the cylinder does not sit flush to its housing. After sanding non-OEM edge so that it can sit flush with its housing, I was able to operate the locking mechanism correctly. It is a cheap alternative to Thule OEM locks. However, it will require some DIY hack to make it work. I inspected all four non-OEM cylinders and they all share the same issue. Please note that OEM lock has a key number that allows user to order replacement keys if misplaced. Non-OEM ones does not have a number; hence, I suspect that all these cylinders use the same key.
