Rubber/silicon tabs should be on the movable legs. Changing the elevation of your keyboard can prevent the pads on the keyboard from contacting the desk surface. Other than the keyboard sliding, the flexibility and height of the risers were perfect for my keyboard. Read more
As with most laptops, the fans need the additional space on the bottom of the computer to allow more air to move into and out of the computer to keep it cool. This item does the trick without being obtrusive. Read more

These elevated my keyboard perfectly to my liking, however they don’t allow you to adjust to specific heights - it is either flat or all the way elevated. Thank goodness elevated was my preference. Would buy again! Read more
