SPF?
I really question just how much sun protection this actually provides. I've used it while out in my garden in the sunny Southwest. I didn't get a sunburn, but I also wear a sunhat that protected me from direct sunlight. My face did feel raw and warm when I went into my house. The consistency is that of a thin gel. I would never use this as a setting spray over makeup. It has to be rubbed in; you can't just spritz it across you face. If the SPF is actually effective (I'm still testing that one out and will update the review when I have my conclusion), this would be a nice moisturizing SPF. The shimmer is actually super pretty, but there are some big glitter pieces in it and that just ruins it. Shimmery is great, glittery isn't. If this is actually an effective SPF, I'll increase the rating and give an update. But as of now, it almost feels like this will accelerate the burning/tanning process. Update - 9/7/2025: I definitely would not use this as an SPF. Read more
Good for body not sure about makeup
I ordered this because I really like the shimmery makeup setting sprays however I personally think that this would be better as just a body shimmer spray. I do love that it has sunscreen protection in it but I think it's just too glittery for my face or too much spray I'm not sure I don't think it's the best makeup setting spray though. I will say it looks absolutely gorgeous if you're just spraying it on your arms or legs even neck. Read more

Pretty sure this is not sunscreen. I got completely burnt and reapplied several times. I think it’s an accelerated. The shimmer is pretty if you don’t want a sunscreen protection and just shimmer oil. Read more

It’s like glittery sun screen for your face! Since it’s a spritz / mist, it applies easily and true enough, does not feel greasy. Not sure it’ll appeal to more masculine audience since they tend to not like a sparkly face. It seems to work well as a sunscreen, though I don’t usually wear makeup with sunscreen. Washes off pretty easily too, no noticeable residue. Read more
