I am going to try shampoo and conditioner bars instead of bottles, but since the jury is still out on this experiment, I didn’t want to invest too much into the set up. My house is very old and has a window in each bathroom, so the sill is usable space, but I don’t want the sills to have wet things resting directly on it or the bars themselves to become gummy, so I landed on this very inexpensive product. The color is neutral, and the dimensions were perfect for my window sill. Most Importantly, it has little padded feet, so it will not scratch my paint and stay in place. The feet will also give it air space to help keep the sill dry. I’ve just set it up and I’m very pleased with the overall look, which is half the battle. I finally found something that works on my bathroom shelves and won't fall down. It's heavy enough so it won't move when things are placed on it but it can hold stuff without sliding around. It's easy to clean and works well with many different shelves. Read more
