Excellent way to sharpen those serrated knives. Read more
this is a very nice tool I bought and kept one for myself how about two more and gave away his gifts. Read more
I bought these for my boyfriend because, let’s be honest, a man with a dull knife is just a man carrying a very shiny spoon. The "Do-It-All" Rod: These things are like the MacGyver of the tool world. One minute it’s sharpening a kitchen knife on the flat side, the next it’s fixing a fish hook in that little groove (for whenever he finally goes on that fishing trip he talks about), and then—the real party trick—it has a pointed end for serrated blades or chainsaw teeth. It’s basically a diamond-encrusted magic wand for anything with an edge. The "Two-for-One" Special: It comes in a 2-pack, which is the greatest gift you can give to someone with ADHD. One for the kitchen, one for the "adventure bag." Or, in our case, one for him to use and one for him to inevitably misplace and then find three months later in a coat pocket. The Retractable Factor: They retract into themselves like a fancy pen, so they don't tear up the inside of his pockets or his new leather sheath. It’s sleek, it’s portable, and it doesn't look like a bulky industrial tool. Final Verdict: If your partner has a collection of knives that couldn't cut through warm butter, get him these. For the price, you get two "survival sticks" that make him feel like a professional woodsman every time he touches up a blade. Read more
These are a great little thing to have. I just received it yesterday, but I've already touched up a few tools for the garden and lawn, as well as my daily carry knife. This is not for fixing a damaged blade, or making a show stopping hair popping edge, but it get the edge you had back to use able if you're using your tool all day, dulled it and need it to work again. Pretty handy tool, I like the size and the multiple functions. Headed fishing tomorrow night, we'll see if it holds up for that trip, filet knives, hooks, pocket knives.... It will be tested!!! They work great and keep my hooks sharp! The pen style seems to allow more room to work on various size hooks - even circle hooks! Read more
Love them. Read more
Great 2 piece set. They function as expected. Diamond are great for filling down metal and the 2 sides (pointy and flat) both work well. -1 star because the knurled collar retainers are a little flimsy and require extra tightening to keep the shaft in place. Read more
