They worked fine for the purpose but by the time they were worn for three outings (trick or treating plus a couple of class parties), the original padding/covering was starting to fall off. Now, the child in question is young and was dropping them/knocking them off their head a fair bit, and sewing standing ears on may have just been too much stress on the padding.
