My first pair I got with my S10+ fizzed out after six years. I loved them so much I got another pair just like them. I used them mainly for listening to music. These are so much better than the typical headphones you get for at a Safeway, QFC, Fred Meyer, etc. The sound quality is pretty good and you don't hear a lot of background noise while they're in. And you have a headphone jack in your phone, like my old phone did, you can speak into the mic without having to connect to Bluetooth. Bought another pair with a USB-C plug for my phone too. I've had a pair of these that came with my old Samsung Galaxy S10+, and they sounded incredibly open and full-range for in-ears in this price range. It is a must-have for music producers, gym-goers, and seasoned travelers. My one complaint is that the volume control housing needs to be water-proof or sweat-proof. I sweat a lot at the gym, and while your first instinct might be to throw the cable underneath your shirt if the volume buttons take on too much moisture, I've had it randomly start turning the volume down, up, or just stopping and starting playback until I get it dried out. I've had the rubberized shell on the earbud itself start to disintegrate after 6+ years of daily use, which is why I bought this replacement. For the price, I think it's worth it. There's not a lot of bass, and very little sound cancellation, but it works! I can hear everything in the songs I listen to along with surround sound- which is really magical. These last pretty long too. Length is pretty nice, but just like every other pair of earbuds, they will snag on everything and pop right out of your ears. But I love 'em. Read more

AKG sacrificed nothing when they built these for their parent ownership, Harmon "A Samsung Company" and if they had added them to their product line on their own, the price would probably have been much higher. Don't assume that the pre-installed middle sized ear tips are ideal. If the earbuds are not fit perfectly to your own canal size, you'll lose much of the bass, so experiment with the other sizes provided to be sure you're hearing them at their best. They only block as much exterior noise as putting them in your ears provides (no active noise cancellation), but they're a great choice for conversations or music that you don't want others to have to hear. I had a galaxy s9+ and the akg headphones that shipped with the phone were amazing. great bass and sound. used them every day, even after the phone was updated. I just lost these headphones and it sucked. So I went on amazon and ordered some and they were fake but looked real. had to return them as they sounded like music with no bass. But then I found these and figured if they are fake, I'll return them too. But these are the real deal. very very excellent bass in the earbuds. very much recommend these ones if you are used to the quality and replacing a set. i might order another pair just have in case I lose this set.
