Got this for the purpose of removing my blackheads since mine tend to be deep into my skin, read the reviews before buying & bought this item has it says it’s good for sensitive skin which is untrue, the suction is really powerful I’ll give it that for the price, the tips were really rough, & it didn’t even remove any blackheads just scraped my skin I moved in the motion as directed & it was brushing as I was moving the tool, so upset , never returned something so fast Read more
This pore vacuum is very good for the price. It has some glaring issues, like the top brassy bit popping off easily, but it is snap fitted and pops right back on. It is made of cheap plastic and does not feel premium by any means, but it does the job perfectly fine. It has 3 strong suction settings, is rechargeable, has a light indicator to show you the charging progress/setting you picked, and has many different tip shapes. I have never used a pore vacuum before, but I will say that as far as removing blackheads, this tool works no better than a metal loop tool to be frank. The suction is not what extracts the pimple. Essentially it pushes into your skin by sucking it in, and then when you slide it along it's similar to a pinch and squeeze. Do be aware that these things are generally considered terrible for your skin, particularly with misuse. You can bruise your skin & permanently break capillaries that'll cause red veins to appear on your skin. You have to get surgery to remove this. You are absolutely not supposed to leave it in one place for an extended period of time. I would say no longer than 2 seconds. If this doesn't bring up the blackhead it is not ready to come out. Do NOT use this on pimples. It will hurt, and not work that well. If it has red inflammation around it do not use this tool on it, those are not what this tool is for. The settings may be a bit too strong for some people with thin fragile skin. I wish there was an even lower setting. The suction being too strong is especially true with the tip with the biggest hole. I strongly do not recommend using that one, and if you do I recommend continually gliding it along slick lotioned skin on the lowest setting. I really like that this came with the little metal tools, I didn't realize when I ordered this that it did. If you don't like the pore vacuum, these can provide most of the same functions with better control. I have an issue with picking at my skin using my nails, to the point of bleeding and scabs. Although the pore vacuum can still causing small trauma to the skin, this is a much better alternative to picking with your nails in my opinion. I am using it temporarily to help me quit the habit, and I don't think i'd recommend using this tool long term. Read more
