Solid bar I’ve attached to two studs. Easy to assemble and mount to the wall and did it solo. I’m just using for pull-ups and Trying to avoid kipping or tons of jostling movements given how far this extends from the wall. I’m not saying it can’t handle it - it’s just my precaution to reduce the load it has to bear. So far, so good. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This is a quality pull-up bar that can handles everything I throw at it. Installation was pretty easy - just find the studs, hold 1 side plate up, mark the holes. Use a level to mark the other side. Install the second bracket and then attach the bar. I couldn’t help but wonder though if the design is backwards… Most bars have supports under the bar. With this configuration the “supports” are on top of the bar. However, it’s solid. The real fun was being able to attach bands to the rings and then I decided a heavy bag would be fun. So I attached a 70lb heavy bag and hammered on it. My son even swings on it. No issues. I’d recommend grip tape on the bar because it is slippery. Its study and yet heavy for one person to install. Because of the heavy weight I had to make a template for the holes to drill then screwed in one side at a time. The instructions must get larger font...a real eye test. Read more
