2025 Upgraded Hidden Camera Detector GPS Hidden Camera Detector and Bug Detector Portable RF Signal Scanner for Travel

I hate to join the pile on of other reviewers, but It was small enough to pack away in my bag this time so I figured I'd give it a shot on a recent business trip... And by 'test this' I mean, 'walk around my room with a beeping stick' and 'shine red lights around my room'. That was the entirety of my experience with it. From what I can tell, that's all this unit is physically capable of accomplishing. And it's LOUD too. You detect them like you're at an EDM concert with the volume cranked up to 11. (PROTIP: To disable the beeping and switch to vibration, push the power button quickly once it's on. I had to discover that one) It dawned on me that everyone uses WiFi today so we like to think back to 'before all this' as maybe a time when this could've worked. But no, because even before WiFi, the same FCC unlicensed bands were used for cellular phones and garage door openers and microwaves... take this thing back to 1999 and it would probably still make just as much noise. Turning it on is easy enough, just a single button to cycle through the modes. But they're all unfortunately useless at detecting anything other than (today) wifi signals. For what it's worth, I was able to discern 3 other 'modes'. The magnetic one (I presumed was EM fields) only detects the motherboard on one of my computers. I sit it on top of transformers and it does nothing, but if you come near a one of my laptops it goes berserk. Odd. And not to be all negative, there is a strong suit. It's where my single star comes from. The battery life. This thing will last FOREVER, because A) you'll never use it and B) even if you did it would be for short bursts. I was not able to verify that this actually detects cameras or wifi devices accurately. Just when I thought it was working correctly and able to find my cameras it would seemingly go off for no reason. I think perhaps in this day and age it might be more of a challenge because there are wireless signals all around us as well as all sorts of electromagnetic devices. At first I had forgot that I was wearing my smartwatch while using this and of course that could potentially create issues with false positives. I can't say for certain that it does not work but I think it will be very challenging for the average person to make any use of this. Read more

Compact and gives peace of mind while traveling. It is lightweight and portable, definitely worth having for extra security on the go. Make sure to read instructions as I found it slightly confusing at first. Hoping it's accurate as I do not want anyone watching me!! Hard to fully know if it's working due to the fact you'd never know if it was inaccurate when you don't know where a camera may truly be at but it's worth a shot ! Read more

Like many other reviewers, I also had a few hidden cameras I was able to use this to test with, and none of them were "found". But, that's not even the most ridiculous aspect of this totally bunk device. Okay, here's what it does well - detects wifi. BUT, it's the most worthless detection method because lets say you go to a Air BNB or Hotel, or perhaps you're in a changing room at a store. The wifi detector is going to be totally worthless as there's going to be wifi all over the place. I couldn't even use this method in my apartment, it just beeped constantly from the over all signal. The other methods were useless as well; Electromagnetic? - Not sure what that's meant to detect but it did not detect anything period, including my hidden cams. GPS Tracking? - It failed to detect any "Find My Device" tags such as Airtags. One may cite that Airtags don't use GPS but what else is someone going to track you with other than a modern tag device like that? It didn't set off any alarms about my phone with GPS enabled. "Alarm" - I mean, it beeps if moved, for what that's worth? Infrared - Almost as much of a joke as the Wifi detection except this detected nothing at all. I went in a pitch black room with a motion sensing nanny-cam and guess what, nothing. The red lights failed to capture anything whatsover. It's scary that a device so bad can be on the market when there's quite a bit at stake here. It's one thing to offer a bad device, but this may make someone feel safe when they really aren't. The Wifi alert is simply going to go off constantly, and every other method fails to work in the smallest possible way. This product should be removed from being sold. It's almost criminal to give someone false confidence that this actually works at all. Hard pass. Read more
