I think this is one of the most well hidden and discreet cameras in the market currently. Not only is the lens well hidden, but other indicators of a hidden camera - like the micro sd card slot is cleverly out of sight. If the provided screw is used to secure it to an outlet, it is near impossible to detect its true purpose. The video quality is one of the strongest parts. The 4K resolution delivers sharp detail when viewing live or reviewing recordings, and it is noticeably clearer than standard HD indoor cameras I have used before. During the day, the image is crisp and color accurate. Though not really true 4k, the video quality is comparable to any high end "non-hidden" security camera out there. At night, the infrared mode switches on automatically and still provides a clear view in complete darkness without any visible glow from the unit. The app setup was straightforward. I must say, this is one of the few camera in the market that has a very well written and clearly explained manual. I have noticed that most of the time, if there are connection issues it is because you are trying to connect it to a 5G network, which this camera and most other cameras like this will not connect to. It needs to be a 2.4Ghz channel for the WiFi. Adding 5G capability would not only avoid a lot of customer confusion, but would be a great upgrade to this device. It did get connected quickly to my phone, and live viewing works reliably when I am away from home. Motion alerts come through promptly and are useful for knowing when there is activity, especially when checking on pets during the day. Sensitivity can be adjusted so it does not trigger constantly on minor movement. One thing to be aware of is that installation requires careful placement so the camera angle captures what you want, since it is fixed once installed. It is not something you reposition frequently like a tabletop camera. Overall, this works well if you want discreet indoor monitoring with high image quality and remote access. The setup was fairly straightforward and it works fine for basic indoor monitoring. The video quality is decent and the motion alerts are helpful when they trigger on time. The front panel has a lot of holes and the blue sensor dot stands out, which makes it more obvious than I expected. Because of that, it does not blend in well in a room unless you place it carefully.
