I just love this skirt, beautiful pattern and fabric; it's not a tiered skirt and it doesn't flare out much, which is more slenderizing than skirts with more volume and more material. I deliberated between the Large and the Medium. I think both would have been fine. In the end, I went with the Large. I'm 5'4" , 142 lbs with a "belly" so I sized up just in case. I think the Medium would have been been an even nicer silhouette on me, but was afraid to try. Very comfortable, very long. It does sound like a waving flag when you walk. I was a bit concerned with just how astonishingly bright the colors were when it first arrived, but they toned down just a bit in the wash and are no longer an eye sore, but eye catching. The pockets are the typical skirt pockets, rounded and can only handle carrying a small phone. The patterns do not line up at the seams, but I wouldn’t really expect them to and it doesn’t look that bad. It is white on the inside but doesn’t show through. Stitching is red, the waistband is elastic with no drawstring. It is more of a summer skirt than winter, the fabric seems like it would adhere to leggings worn underneath. Read more
