Plug as described. I use it for my golf cart and no issues so far. The caveat is that this plug carries no more than ~7A at 120VAC so I cannot rate it for rated amperage. Great value for the money. Thrilled ! This was just what I was searching for to solve my overload RV circuit. I installed it immediately was straight forward and an ideal solution. Rv circuits can easily get overloaded I decided to figure out rigging up a similar through the wall power source. State parks have the 30 amp and they have one 110 regular house outlet. This enables me to use parks circuit box and plug in to it this permanently installed adapter for a separate power source for my portable countertop ice maker and bypass RV circuit loop I would always forget it was on then turn on coffee pot and blow the circuit breaker. Highly recommend this item!! However it does require you to use a 2’ drill driven hole saw through your wall. The enclosed trim ring is more than adequate to leave a factor looking finish on the outside of RV. Note they do not give you an inside trim ring. It’s a tight fit so I caulked around it on the inside and will keep my eye on the look out for a two inch trim ring to use on inside RV wall. Its neat appearance will not degrade your RV. It gives you extra power source for high amp item that could overload your RV circuit breaker. Don’t hesitate if you need an RV circuit addition and you then are using the park box or your auxiliary generator circuit and giving your RV circuit a break. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Great product. the rubber cap seems to fit nicely. The only reason it’s not a five star is because I only hand tighten the bolts and you can tell that the plastic is bowing in the areas the bolts are at so essentially it’s not going to be even pressure around the seal. if they put a thin metal backing plate it would be a lot better.. I wanted this one cause it was smaller, but maybe the bigger ones have better support. I am concerned this might start leaking in the future. There really isn’t any room for washers but if I did put some, it would probably distribute the pressure more evenly so maybe I could put some black ones down the road. Read more
