I ordered this battery replacement with the charger as a more affordable alternative to the original Dewalt brand, and so far it’s been a good value. The battery fits my Dewalt tools without any issues. It slides in securely and powers up right away. Performance-wise, it delivers strong, consistent power, and the 5.0Ah capacity provides a solid runtime for drills, impact drivers, and other everyday projects. Does charge the battery but Doe not seem to work as advertised
I wrote a negative review a few weeks ago. I was partially wrong. The chargers does charge the batteries but one has to push the battery into the charger until you hear it click in place. That seems to lock the battery into the charger. I have had 3 batteries in the charger for 12 hours. The red light on the charger stays on. The indication on the charger never changes. But when I remove the battery from the charger and press the charge indicator button on the battery itself, the battery shows fully charged. Does not seem to charge the batteries as advertised. The lights blink red, and red and green. but the test light on multiple batteries new changes after 24 hrs of being in the charger. The batteries fit very loosely in the charger. I have to bias the batteries one way or the other to get the indicator lights on the charger to start blinking. Read more
