This product is pretty spot on! Side Note: I’ve been vaping since 2016 and was an extreme social vaper. My vaping would consist of 5% Nic. I created really bad habits with my vaping. I would be vaping right when I woke up, when I was bored, and after I ate food. With making the decision to quit vaping, I decided to try this product in hopes that it will help me reduce my cravings and stop completely. For placement: I placed two on each side of my chest and one on my triceps. The adhesive is sticky, but when you’re placing it on your arm, you may want to add a body tape to secure it better. Placing it on the chest, in my opinion, was best for me. Day 1 - I used only one patch and noticed it didn’t work out for me. Then I had to re-read the instructions. It does mention to increase the patches based on your weight. I am considered “obese,” so I gradually increased my patches. Day 2 - I used 2 patches and it did help curve my cravings, but not enough for me to completely stop. Day 3 - I used 3 patches (Max) and I noticed a huge difference in my cravings. Day 5 - I stopped vaping with 3 patches (2 on my chest, 1 on my arm). I would mainly have cravings after I ate food, but I believe that was me wanting the satisfaction of vaping, instead of craving the nicotine. Day 6 - I reduced my patches to two patches and it was able to sustain me for majority of the day, but I believe 3 patches will be my go-to until I reach 2 weeks in or until I noticed I no longer crave my vape. So far, so good. It’s definitely worth the money compared to other name brands. I do believe these patches are effective, especially when you wear the correct amount of patches based on your body weight. The instructions do mention to reduce the patches based on the weeks of use, but in my opinion, it should be based on your cravings and habits. I used Nicoderm before but switched to these because of the price difference. These may stick better but THEY DO NOT WORK!!! Im almost right back to where I was before starting the nicoderm patches. I’m trying to stop vaping and I feel like these are really helpful so far and I feel like my withdrawals haven’t been as bad with these on. I usually stick them on to my thigh and it’ll stay on even when I’m working out. Only annoying this is that they’ll slip off in the shower so I recommend taking a shower before applying a new one. These last just as long as the brand name, adhere to my skin better, and have the same effect. I find this type to be more effective than the name brand, thicker, and more round ones. These are rectangular, smooth, and thin to the touch and the adhesion is better for me than the name brand. They do exactly the same thing for a fraction of the price. The only thing that is strange about these is that the colors vary. The photos were two patches taken from the exact same box, opened at the same time, with the same expiration date. I am using these for the nicotine benefits. I do not smoke, so I cannot comment on the effectiveness of helping to quit smoking. On the other hand I started taking a quarter patch (half of a half patch). Within an hour or so I started to feel the nicotine. After a few weeks I've moved to a half patch which actually has helped me stop drinking sugary energy drinks! So I guess these patches have helped me stop other unhealthy things. I actually can't remember the last energy drink I had, it's been months. Since I don't smoke I'm probably pretty sensitive to the nicotine patch, but I stick it on right out of the shower before I go to work, and it keeps me energized and focused all day long. I don't feel jittery or shakey at all. I have also found it to help curb my appetite some as well. I do notice that it does itch a little after i put it on, but that goes away pretty quickly.
