Colorful quality ball that our dog just loves !

The Goyappin 22" ball for dogs comes with a small bellows type pump , patches , and an extra pin for the inner ball. The colorful orange & blue outside cover looks like nylon however it's specified as 9000 Oxford and the inner inflatable ball is a heavy-duty vinyl material. I tried to use the included pump, however I gave up since it was taking way too much time and energy to inflate the ball large enough to fill up the outer cover. ( see enclosed pixs ). Our 34 Lb ( herding breed ) dog immediately started playing with the ball inside and since its pretty soft , didn't do any damage, later we went outside for the real test and it keep his attention for a long time. Additionally, the single larger bell and smaller two that attach to the outer cover, are designed for frequency's above the human hearing range. Using an audio analyzer, these bells ring at 20-24Khz with good intensity ( I cant hear it ) however it is clearly heard by my tester :-) Overall quality and how well my tester immediately loved the ball , its a winner ! Ball is ok, but hard to fill to the appropriate level - the bladder a bit small, the pump is a toy

This ball consists of a rugged outer sheath and an interior rubber bladder. The quality of these individual components are fine. The product falls short in that the interior bladder is small requiring excessive filling to fill out the outer sheath. The bladder is filled with a flimsy foot pump that takes several hundred stomps to fill the bladder enough to fill the outer sheath. Then there is no valve on the filling hole, so when you pull out the pump stem it's next to impossible to prevent high pressure air from escaping the overfilled bladder. Once the product is fully inflated, it works fine, it's just a pain to try and get it fully inflated. A slightly larger bladder, a one way valve on the bladder and a higher quality pump would help overcome this product's shortcomings. Read more

This big ball is not just for large dogs our small cocker spaniels love tugging it around.

The media could not be loaded. This big ball has been so much fun for our cocker spaniels. They are not large dogs or herding dogs, but they love balls. They push the ball with their chest or paws. They also love the handle they can use to push it around and make it bounce. They love this big ball so much we have to take it away because they won't stop playing with it, and they need to calm down from being so boisterous. This is one of the best things we have for getting our dogs exercise and tiring them out. We used another air device to fill up the ball. We thought it was full but the cover of the ball inside was still sagging. We thought the ball could not take anymore air. We kept putting air in the ball until the cover fit good and tight on the ball. So don't be afraid to really fill the ball with air. Then there is no chewability of the cover or ball. Our cockers don't care what size of ball they play with, they love large balls too. Read more

Do not buy! Cheaply made!

The media could not be loaded. This is my second ball, I thought the first was defective. Will not buy again, my dog loved it but it only lasted 5 minutes! Very disappointed! The side of the ball split. The last one the seam split so I thought it was defective. Now I realize it is not made to stand up to normal dog shaking and play. Read more

Durable and bright!

I got this for my German shepherd and originally thought it was terrible, but soon realized the cons were actually pros in my situation. Cons- Does not blow up big enough to fit in the cover tightly. We blew it up as far as we could (the pump started popping out of it because of the pressure and it was so full we were worried it would pop), but it still wasn't big enough. The bell on it could easily become a choking hazard. Pros- The ball is thick walled and sturdy, and even though it will probably be popped eventually because my dog is persistent in destroying things, for right now, it's holding up very well. The cover is also thick and sturdy. It will hold up long after the ball is gone. The con of it not fitting into the cover turned out to be kind of nice for my dog, because instead of biting the ball, he bites the cover. It allows him to carry it around (which is what he wants to do) without risk of popping the ball. So it looks terrible, but it works for us. I love how large it is. Our shepherd is on the larger side and it's hard to find toys for him that keep his interest. This one is big and different, so he loves it. Overall, depending on how long it lasts, I would recommend it and consider buying it again. Read more

Inflate with Compressor! Bright, Tough, Great Ball

I wasn’t sure what to expect from an “orange and blue” dog-visible ball, but it turns out my two dogs spotted it instantly. Instead of searching around the yard or waiting for me to point, they locked onto the colors the second it bounced. That alone already made this worth it. The fabric surprised. It’s that rugged 900D Oxford material – firm enough to survive the chaos of fetch, but still soft enough that it doesn’t feel like I’m throwing a rock. My dogs aren’t chewers, but they’re definitely grab-and-shake dogs. They try to grab it to no avail. Inflation: at first I assume I received a medium fabric piece and small ball. I used the included pump to try and inflate it. I pumped and pumped and pumped. Ball was way too small. Later in the night, I used my air compressor and inflated it to the precise size in 4-5 seconds. Advice: skip the pump. Skip basic USB pumps. Use an air compressor. It’s not meant to be a chew toy, and I wouldn’t let a heavy chewer settle down with it. But for running, chasing, bouncing across the lawn, and the quick “drop it and go again” rhythm of outdoor play, it’s perfect. The bounce is lively, and it’s easy for them to pick up without the usual slipping. Overall: bright, durable for normal play, and instantly dog-visible. It has become our go-to fetch ball this week, and the excitement level around here proves it. Read more

Ball loses air too easily

Thought it was a good idea , but ball loses air without being punctured. Wish I didn’t spend the money on this. If ball would stay inflated my Ausie Loves it ! Read more
