I love these lights & stand! I used it while painting a huge, dark bedroom. The features I enjoyed: you can turn the individual lights off & on (you don't have to use all 3), the tilt up & down, the bar holding the lights swivel, the pole holding the lights extends & lowers, & of course the tripod changes the height. Do the lights get hot? Yep. They make the area around you warm. But I alternated the lights when I was using them. I didn't need all 3 at once. They are very bright. This was a great investment for someone who paints indoor rooms. I used it on carpet & never worried about it falling over. Obviously if you bump too hard into it, it will fall. It's top heavy. They are amazing lights for the price, very bright, versatile, pretty darn durable. I knew they wouldnt be perfect and expected some wobblyness based on the reviews, but I will say they are very stable compared to what i thought we'd see when using them. We haven't had them long but we've already used them a bunch outside and plan to use them a bunch more. For the price you cant complain and Im pleasantly suprised with the quality we received. My only cons were as shown in the twp photos, I wanted a quick and easy way to wrap up the cord and that was my solution, it works perfectly for us. w We also upgraded the screws they used in the side as the other two were very small and were some of the stability issues up top. Truly an incredible light for the money.... Breaks down into a surprisingly compact form for convenience. Puts out an extremely even light pattern with minimal heat. Great for evening outside activities (like keeping raccoons away from digging up my lawns), auto work, etc. I am very pleased with this purchase.
