This is a voltage converter as well as an adapter & worked well for my hair straightener & dryer. It stored well and came with its own little bag. I did notice that my hair straightener heated up excessively when using the converter--not sure why, but I shut it off when I noticed the appliance getting extra hot. Read more

We bought this converter to take with us to Australia. Purchased it in May and trip didn't occur until mid June. Chose the AUS plug and plugged it in. Blew a fuse right away. Read the instructions for trading out the fuse and were happy to find an extra fuse. Replaced the blown fuse and tried again with the same results. Now we are without a new fuse and no way to use our devices. The plug was missing a prong. Too late to return it, so we're stuck with a paperweight. Bought a new device in Australia. Disappointed with the product and surprised because we've always had good luck with items purchased on Amazon. Read more
