Well these are being used currently for my dog. I struggled to find something to work on her paws during this winter season. She is older and has terrible calluses on her paws, to the point where they began bleeding. These bandage wraps are perfect. They let me put ointment on her paws with a gauze and then I can wrap with these. They STAY on even going in and out in the snow and cold. These are the best price and work very well for large legged hubby instead of compression socks (which bind real bad at knee). It takes a bit of practice wrapping, but we keep it dry and on for 3-4 days, with a size e tubing grip underneath. We used to use double size e molnlyke tubigrip for compression which is washable and reusable and better than any compression hose we bought, but Coban wrap gives firmer compression and has actually helped some healing processes. We Wrap over foot twice, leave the heel open and go up the leg overlapping the wrap to 1/2 the width (like 2" overlap). Dont add stretch, just as it comes off the roll is enough stretch to not compress too much. Anyone who has had a 'profore' wrap can attest to how bad it can be with too much compression. Great colors, and very inexpensive. If your need a one time use, then this is perfect. Once it is taken off, the ability to hold again will decrease 75%. Compared to Johnson&Johnson, (J&J) it works just the same on the first wrap. J&J takes over as thiers can be used over and over before needing to cut a new piece. I have a finger stabilizer, and when I need to adjust it, this brand has less sticking power, where the J&J I can loosen, adjust and retape several times In a day. Same with holding shinguards. They both work perfect the first time, but at half time, I re-adjust them, no hold power from this brand on the second use. In the photo, you can see the difference. But in all, this product is great for one time use and the price is perfect for that. I carry 4 rolls in my futball bag at all times. And the colors are very cool, more fun then tan. Doesn't stick to fur, needs to be cut off. But not a problem. Don't know why the Rate features section asks about "easy to remove". Holds gauze in place until my dog pulls out the gauze... Will use for human first aid also. Same stuff as the phlebotomist uses. Super good price. Read more
