April 2025 🍎 Summary – These are very simple steno pads. If you’re into taking temporary notes for later transfer into an electronic version, these are fine. For long-term storage or filing I find the covers are way too thin. The number of colors is interesting but a bit excessive in my opinion. The price may be right though, all things considered. 🕮 Notes – your application and use-environment may be different from mine - so remember to think ‘outside of the box’ and adapt this product to your needs and environment. 🕮 I attend many meetings for many groups and keeping things organized is paramount. These steno pads help in that I use one notepad for each I attend allowing me to carefully, over time, convert the notes I wish to save into electronic form. ✅ There are twelve (12) cover colors in this pack of 24 steno pads. They are fairly well distinguishable other than the light, medium and darker blue hues might be confusing. ✅ There are 60 sheets per pad, about average and a nice size to carry around if needed. The pages accept the use of ball point pens, roller ball pens and pencil lead. Some of the felt tip ink pens may soak through the paper fairly easily. ➖ The spiral wire top is fine – nothing notable there. ❌ The problem I encountered was that even on an 80-degree temperature day with mid-teens of humidity the covers started to curl a bit. The problem is that the covers are just too thin – more like very think paper. (If the covers were NOT painted, the covers would not curl, or if both sides of each cover were painted, the curl would offset each other. This is more irritating than anything else and the visual leaves a bit for want during meetings and such.) 🛒 SUMMARY: if the price is right, these steno pads would be fine if the curling covers were not an issue for you. The paper accepts a wide range of writing instruments just fine (except for the felt markers). For kids, temporary notes or pads of lined paper, this is a usable product. 4 Stars for me but the cover issue might be 3 Stars for others. Read more
