These make beautiful, clear, loud jingle bell sounds. MUCH better than any homemade versions I had previously used. The wrist straps are good and sturdy and seem well built to hold up to a good amount of use. They can be used as handle holds for adults to loop your fingers through, or go around the wrists of kids like a watch. I didn't actually try to put it on my own wrist but it might fit an adult that way too...? They are adjustable because of the velcro. Just be prepared for the noise level. We used them to go caroling as a family... 6-8 of us with 1-2 each got pretty loud. It was perfect for the songs, but with the kids playing with them (not even full-tilt) while walking and driving between houses, it got a little grating on the adults after half an hour (or less...). We were very ready to put them away by the end. We had to start gathering them up from the smaller kids especially between houses for our sanity. Read more
