Wow. I wasn't expecting much of this cable, to be honest. I have traditionally only stuck with the top brands, like Anker or Baseus when buying cables (or sticking with OEM cables). This cable feel high quality. It is a bit heavier than the braided cables from Anker, so maybe not for travel where every ounce counts, but I really like that. The connectors are a metal of some sort and the cable itself, though weighty, feel more sturdy. Even Anker cables have fibers that come out after a while, and I just don't get the impression that would happen easily here. The cables connect with a good click to my phone. I've not tested charging speeds above my 45W phone, but I will try some devices later and report back if there are any issues with that or with quality. I also really like that it comes with a flexible silicone wrap with a stretchy notch to secure the cord when wrapped. Most other brands have velcro that sticks to everything and wears out quickly. Sometimes it's the little things lol. One note for awareness, this cable is advertised at USB 2.0 speeds (480 mbps), so don't expect something it's not designed to do. This is not a knock on the cable--many 240W cables are 2.0 as well. Use it for charging, not for data transfers. I just wish more companies would offer a USB 3 or 4 cable with fast charging. They're out there, you just have to pay attention when buying. This one really surprised me and now, I'll have to watch out for more from this brand! Read more

I have tons of USB-C devices around and many of them (like a couple of laptops) are pretty power hungry, and so I've been looking to make sure I have good, high power cables that can accommodate those more power hungry devices. You can buy some pretty nice cables for well into the $20+ to $30 level, so at just under (by a penny) $20, I thought I'd give this one a try. I am quite pleased with it. It works as anticipated, first and foremost. But beyond that, it feels premium. The ends are, I believe, made of metal and feel very sturdy. The cable itself is braided and very flexible, which is really nice. That means you can spool it up for a bag pretty tightly. I have some other high power cables that are very thick and inflexible -- so was really pleased to see this one was the opposite. So overall, this is a really nice upgrade at a reasonable price. As a fast charge cable it does a great job. I have it set up for charging my drone batteries in a charging hub at home so I'm not using it for data but did hook it up for copying some videos and the speed was excellent.
