Didn't realize they were plastic, but that's actually better
I was surprised to find these bulbs are made of a plastic material. However, this is a good idea. The glass ones break easily. These look great, shine brightly, and won't shatter if you drop/bonk them. Read more
Great replacement bulbs for patio/bistro lights
I bought these to retrofit some patio lights in my backyard. The original bulbs were glass and 10 had burnt out. I bought these because they're low energy and shatterproof. I've been using them since purchasing (4 months) and have no complaints. Read more
Work Great
I bought the 25 pack since so many were out in the 40 glass bulb strand. They seem to be a little bit brighter than the glass bulbs and my favorite part is that they are shatter proof. Now I don’t have to worry about the one bulb that seemed to break every time the wind blew anymore. The only problem I have had is even though they were packed great so far 3 of the 25 didn’t work when I installed them. Not sure what to do about those. I wonder if anyone else has had that issue. I do plan to buy more. I just hope all 25 work when I do buy more Read more
