It worked! The thin patch stuck easily and sealed the small hole in my tube. All the patches are the same size, which seems odd; however, half of them are thicker than the others. The tire levers were easy to use and worked great to get the tube out effortlessly. The metal wraps worked great to mark up the tire. The sandpaper is terrible and started flaking on the tire, which was extra debris to remove before applying the patch. I don't expect the two pieces of sandpaper to last long enough to use all the patches. The case is also super cheap and pretty flimsy. This gets the job done, and for the price, it's not bad. For $7.49 at the time of ordering this is a decent kit. I vastly prefer the self-adhesive kits as the little tubes of vulcanizing fluids inevitably go bad and I've never had issue with these patches. I've used two from this kit now and they've been fine. You do need to apply them properly, roughing the tube surface first in two different directions to get optimal adhesion, but I've yet to have them fail. Read more

Size: This little kit is small enough to fit in a bike bag, but packs a major punch. It's tiny and lightweight enough to go in a pants pocket. Functionality: If you've ever repaired a bike tire before, you have everything you need here: sanding material, roughing material, plenty of patches, tools to pop the tires off, and a carrying case. I've used it twice already and it's already saved me twice what it costs, not to mention the cost of an Uber. This kit is lightweight, but good quality materials are included. I got this to keep in my bike bag for times when we get tire flats. There's so much road debris that we often get puncture flats. The kit comes in a handy little box to keep it all together. The two patch styles differ not just in shape ( round vs. square) but also in surface finish. I haven't had another flat yet to fix, so I'm not sure if the difference is just that or if their adhesion/ application is also different. Contrary to the product description, there's no instructions included with the kit. Also, the product description shows the square patch as the sandpaper, but there's actually a couple of pieces of rust colored sandpaper that comes with the kit. The bike tire levers will work, but I wish they would snap together like a lot of others do for when storing them away neatly. Read more
