So, as a boy mom of 3..I very much approve of this set, and recommend you go ahead and add it to your registry or ship it to the recipient. It arrives ready to gift, wrapped in the pretty mesh and ribbon. If you aren’t finding out the gender and want closer to neutral colors, the boy option. I honestly got this for myself with hopes of my 4th and last being a girl, but not planning to find out..so with my track record I went with the boy option. Everything included is nice quality and well made, and nearly all of it I still find practical. This essentially comes with almost every item you might need for the first 4-6 months, except a few. I would’ve preferred to have a hooded bath towel, not hooded blanket..although you could always dry baby off with a standard bath towel and wrap them in the blanket after while dressing. It also could’ve used a couple of burp rags. If I didn’t know I was receiving corner guards, I might not have known what they were. I’ve never personally used the guards other than plug in ones, but it is nice that they included them instead of what most use.. the plug caps. Quite a bit of the items will grow with the baby for the first year or longer for the hairbrush and nail care set. I appreciate that they include a 0-3 and a 3-6 onesie, rather than all newborn sizes, babies grow quick and all 3 of mine practically never wore newborn sizes born at 10 lbs+. As a first time mom, I would’ve totally used the 1 piece outfit that looks to be between newborn to 0-3m, but that information is in a foreign language. As a multiple mom, I avoid clothing that has more than the snaps on a onesie. It would make a very adorable outfit for dressier times or welcome home outfit.. photos with the wooden welcome disc. I love that they include the wrist rattles, the cloth texture book, and the teething elephant. The wash cloths and swaddling cloths are a nice muslin material, that I still use on my 2 year old. The swaddling cloths I never learned to truly use..I use the lazy ones, but still made use of them, great for traveling, floor time, blocking sun, etc. The hat, socks and the mittens and the bottle bibs are all adorable and practical. Although the coin wouldn’t work in my home, it is undoubtedly a great and highly recommended item to add especially for first time parents. Oh, and the basket..yea that will be useful for decades. This is undoubtedly a great price for all of the great quality items you receive. Read more
This basket is chock full of so many things. It seems like it goes on and on of all the different items you can dig down to find. Even a coin to flip that says “Mommy’s turn” and “Daddy’s turn” :) Most of the items seem to be made in China, with quite a lot of them wrapped in plastic with Chinese writing. I removed most of the plastic wrap for a softer presentation. I left some things wrapped to emphasize that they were new and not handled. Or if it was to contain a matched set of something together. The swaddles are made of muslin, and it looks like the bibs and small cloths are also muslin. The clothes are cotton. There are some personal care items (brush, nail care) and fun things like a taggy toy and taggy cloth book. There are many small accessories like socks and mittens and hat and wrist rattles. A fuzzy blanket. More things I have forgotten. And the basket itself is a rope coil basket, which is totally reuseable and useful, not just a throwaway gift basket. There is nothing for feeding; this is an appropriate choice since most moms are a bit choosy about what kind of feeding things they prefer. Nothing for diapering. No consumable products like toiletries. A new parent who is trying to collect the basics is going to love exploring everything in this basket. The presentation is that the basket is wrapped in a cute mesh fabric and tied with a ribbon. It came in a cardboard box if you preferred to keep this and wrap it in wrapping paper. This is a great gift if you are not sure what they need, because it gives a little of everything. Read more
I’m absolutely amazed by the amount of things you get in this basket. As someone who can never decide what to gift someone for a baby shower, this has a little bit of every thing. I especially liked the baby blankets included and the little toys included. If you’re undecided or running on a tight schedule this is perfect as it comes already made and ready to gift. Read more
Searching for the perfect baby shower gift is often overwhelming. You want something practical, but it also needs to feel special. This 28-piece Baby Boy Gift Set encompasses most of that wish. It is a complete gift in a single basket. The presentation starts with the basket. It is a soft but sturdy rope basket in a creamy white, so it will match any nursery decor, everything is in the basket and it's enclosed in a lovely tulle that has gold stars and dots all over it. Inside the basket the variety of items is good. There are soft blankets for swaddling and gentle washcloths for bath time. Tiny socks and bibs. The look of the items is mostly cohesive. So why four stars? Well... each item is wrapped individually so unless you order the basket to be delivered to yourself first and then unwrap the items and repack it, it seems very impersonal once you take the tulle off. The convenience of all these items being packaged together is undeniable, the value of the items to equal the price point though not so much. The quality is basic, think discount store vs. department store. If you don't unpack each item first, it's obvious that these are all imported Chinese goods (which goes back to my value and quality points). The little dinosaur book while cute has syntax that clearly shows a language barrier. The entirety of the basket itself definitely feels like a generous gift. But I'd say the value lands somewhere more between the $55-$65 range, then the $80 list price of when I ordered. I'd say the value in this is more in the fact that you have a pre-assembled gift, than for the value of the actual items inside it. Read more
