I got this balaclava set for colder days running my dog on my e-scooter or e-MTB on trails in the mountains. It gets cold in the morning on trails...... These are just thick enough for early spring rides (not winter rides) as they are on the thinner side. But they are breathable. They fit snug but comfortable and stay in place for me. Far better than gaiters if you ever have an issue with them slipping down. Having a full beard and longer hair tends to allow the gaiters to slip.
