Definitely does what it's supposed to! Works great to add texture and volume, as well as absorb oiliness. The powder disappears pretty quick as you work it into your hair, so you don't have to worry about a powdery look. The one thing I dislike is the feel. It's not the fault of the product, because it's a result of what makes it work, but the feel of styling powder in the hair is...not my favorite. It's rough and chalky.
