I love this! I used to have a stack of books to securely hold up my phone while using my walking pad. This stand is great to hold a reading book or my laptop and ALSO my phone while walking. No brainer. (Note: I can't take a picture of my phone without my phone LOL) Read more

The ErgoLith adjustable laptop stand has completely transformed my workspace. Its smooth height adjustments, sturdy build, and excellent ergonomics make long work sessions far more comfortable. I love how stable it feels, even with heavier laptops. If I had to nitpick, the unit is a bit heavier than expected, but the performance easily outweighs that minor drawback. Read more

This is an extremely solid, well made laptop stand. The metal construction and design feels heavy duty and sturdy, and I never once worry about my laptop being unstable or unsafe while using it. Out of all the stands I’ve tried, this is by far the strongest and most substantial feeling one. If you are looking for pure stability, this absolutely delivers. The swivel feature is another highlight. It rotates smoothly and is genuinely useful when I need to reposition my laptop without lifting the entire stand. That functionality works exactly as intended and adds real convenience to my workspace. Height adjustment is also generous, which I appreciate for ergonomic positioning. However, I do wish it locked into place at the selected height. While it feels secure overall, it will slowly lose height if I apply pressure while typing or leaning on it. It is not unsafe, just slightly annoying that it does not lock once adjusted. The phone stand is where things fall a bit short for me. It is not independently adjustable, so my phone has to sit at the same angle as the laptop. That makes it nearly useless for watching videos while I work. It also does not securely support a larger smartphone in portrait mode. My phone only feels stable in landscape orientation, which further limits its usefulness. I mostly use the phone holder as a cord control platform now, so at least it still serves a purpose. The book holding feature is also somewhat impractical. The clips are difficult to click into place, and turning pages is inconvenient. I can see it being helpful for referencing something like a cookbook recipe where you need a page visible for a longer stretch of time, but it is not ideal for active reading. Overall, this is a very sturdy, high quality metal laptop stand with some extra features that do not quite live up to the main platform. It’s a little too heavy to be truly portable, so is best for a permanent desk set up. That said, as a basic laptop stand, it is excellent and absolutely worth the price point. Even with my mild disappointments in the design add ons, this has become my main laptop stand by choice because of how strong and stable it is. Still would recommend! Read more

I really wanted to not like this laptop stand because the price point seemed too high for something of this sort, but at the end I couldn't justify that and ended up liking it. This is a solid, attractive, and well designed laptop stand that does exactly what it says it does. I've used 10 or so versions of laptop stands, and none of them were able to hold my laptop more than a couple of inches higher without significant wobble to the point where I would not be comfortable with my expensive device staying on it. I have my laptop on this fully extended and don't have that concern. I'm not sure if it's just the weight of the stand (even though it's not that much heavier than some of the beefier other stands that I've used), or if it's the design, but this is very stable even at full extension. I wanted a stand that I could put on my workbench (which is around 35" tall) and have it raise my laptop up to near eye level, AND be stable, which this one does perfectly. This swivels around a central point in the base (there is a raised circular piece where I assume a bearing of some sort lives, this does not have a hole or a clamp it just sits on the desk surface), and swivels decently well without moving while you use it. It has some rubber non-slip pieces on the bottom, but I would have liked to have seen more as these just seem a bit sparse for keeping it from moving. The position adjustment is just friction based, but it is a pretty high level of friction where you have to put a little elbow grease into getting it to move, so you don't have to worry about it shifting on it's own. It extends with a little ratchet mechanism which keeps the top holder from going back down unless you hit the button, but it does extend further outward if you lift on it without hitting the button (a bit annoying as you first get it into position because if you grab it and pull up a bit to try to lift it to move it, instead it just extends). This is not optimal if you only want a slight elevation, as when fully lowered the arm extends over the front of the base a bit, and still is a few inches high. Overall a very solid laptop stand if you need to have your laptop at a higher height than most stands offer. Pros: Very stable, even in it's fully extend position (within reason), and will get quite tall Solid construction, well made, and attractive Easy to manipulate, but will stay in place Cons: Phone holder is fixed to the right side and cannot be moved Sparse rubber grip on the base At its lowest position it's a bit awkward (it juts forward, so it has sort of a long foot print) and still a few inches off the surface of the desk - not great if you only want a bit of a rise Read more
