The item was pretty well made. Feels sturdy and solid. Made of stainless steel. Has a cylindrical compartment for a dish wand ... if you use one. The main compartment can be used for sponges and scrubs. Comes with a sheet of stick on with 2 clips to hold and secure the caddy. According to the product listing, the stainless steel is purportedly rust resistant. I do have something similar that I have been using for many years. To a large extent it is rust resistant ... though not entirely. My existing one have some areas (especially the bottom) where there are rust but most of it is rust free. This item, I believe, should perform the same. Also note that in the product listing pictures you see a caddy with a an extra protrusion and some pictures without it. The one I received has that extra protrusion. It is meant to hang your dish cloth or something along those lines. Overall, a very well made sink sponge caddy. Practical, keeps things organized. Look, it's fine. I am giving it 5 stars since it is what it says it is, the materials are good quality and look durable, and it's not bad looking. That said - it's really not a great setup. The plastic adhesive part works fine and attaches solidly to the sink. This replaces a similar caddy and that part was the eventual failure, but it took several years. The metal part can be attached either side; you can connect to the "bar" part and it sort of hangs at an angle (and probably will scratch the inside edge of the sink) or you can turn it around and the bar becomes a rag hanger. I suggest the latter. The caddy is.... weird shaped, too big, and frankly, sort of impractible. There's that circular part - I'm not sure what that will be used for. It's too small for just about any soap. The basket is fine, though sort of annoying to fish a sponge out of - it's deeper than a sponge is wide. And the bar is pretty close; it's possible but not easy to hang a rag on it. So, again, it is what it says it is, but for me it's turned out to just be a replacement adhesive part for my much smaller, much simpler original caddy. Read more
