I’m really happy with this jewelry box overall. The exterior feels high-quality and sleek, and the inside layout is thoughtfully designed with plenty of compartments that fit all my jewelry perfectly. The dividers in the first drawer are sturdy yet movable, giving me flexibility in how I organize things. The bottom drawer doesn’t come pre-divided, but it’s very easy to set up, and the included dividers fit well. One great feature is the working lock and key on the top which was something I hadn’t seen before. It adds an extra layer of security, which I really appreciate since my roommates often borrow my jewelry. The interior is lined with a soft, false-velvet material that keeps everything protected, and the earring holders do a great job overall. However, I noticed that when earrings are on the holder, sometimes the earring studs can get pushed out from behind, so I have to be a little careful with how I place them. Also, bulkier pendants on necklaces can cause the top earring holder (the one attached to the lid) to not stay up when I first open the box. I’ve found that skipping the first two rows of the earring holder and avoiding thick pendants on necklaces solves this issue. The lower earring holder is easier to lift and reveals a hidden ring section underneath, which is a great addition because it comfortably holds 2 to 3 rings per slot.
