This really is a beautiful piece, and worth it at the coupon included price. It's well made and of good quality all around. A few things to know If using with a regular switch (or smart switch as I am), it doesn't remember the last settings which is a bit irritating. I've contacted the seller to see if there's anything I can do about it. I don't like the idea that I have to keep up with another remote to make this work on a basic level. Fine for the temperature/dimming settings, but it should remember on/off settings when power is cut from a standard light switch Installation is a little bit of a pain since you have to wire it while holding it up. Great if we have 3 arms, but evolution didn't see fit. Remote control works well, but there seem to be a lot of buttons that do the same thing. No manual included for it. Lastly, I wouldn't count on this being your only source of light for a room. We use it over the bar to add some mood/area lighting. Alone, it isn't enough to light a room but could make very nice romantic lighting if that's what you want on a permanent basis. Maybe a couple of them strategically arranged like in the seller photos would work to brighten a room. All in all, so far I have no regrets despite rating it a 4. Looks high end and expensive. It does not cast a bright light so if you are looking for task lighting , this isn’t it. Aside from that, it looks amazing and I would not hesitate to recommend.
