Simple, solid, and honest about limits
These stainless tiffin-style bento boxes are a nice size for snacks and small meals. They’re made from SUS304 stainless, which is equivalent to 18/8, so perfectly appropriate and reassuring for food use. The boxes feel solid, the silicone lids fit well, and everything feels like it’s made to be used regularly rather than babied. The one thing to be aware of is the internal layout. The two compartments are not liquid tight from each other. There’s a bar on the lid that comes down between them, but it doesn’t fully seal one side off from the other. If you put something wet on one side and something dry on the other, they may eventually get acquainted. I don’t consider that a flaw so much as a design reality, but it’s important to know going in. These are great for snacks, solids, and reasonably dry items. They’re not meant for soup-and-salad combos. Overall, they’re well made, sensibly sized, and made from good materials.
