Initial Use: For my specific use, I empty my trash often just so my house doesn't smell, even though they claim it contains the smell. It's a habit of mine, but it does work well. They don't mention it, but it should be at least water-resistant, so it is excellent to use in the bathroom. I use plastic bags for this, and it fits very well in the trash can without getting loose. You can either kick it, hover over it, or manually press it to open it. If you manually open it, it will remain open until you press the button to close it. It can be sensitive, but it has worked well for my purposes. It will stay open for 5 seconds before closing. I haven't had any issues with the motors or anything like that so far. I received a set that had one item damaged in the corner, but I was sent a replacement. However, you're unlikely to be tossing these around, so durability should be sufficient. These are great! They are space saving with their compact build, convenient, stylish, and contribute sanitary wise with its touch automatic lid lift. Just pop in a couple of batteries and you’re all set. There is nowhere this can will not fit in. It is also ideal for any bedroom, office, den, and yes, the bathroom just as the name suggests.
