I regularly dermaroll and micro needle at home. I have melasma and some sun spots that come with being an older lady. These appear to be on par with the ones I have been buying, no chance of the head popping off at random. None of the tines were bent. It has easy to sterilize heads and should last 3/4 months a piece. I do not use the longest one, 1.0mm on my face. I use that on my stretch marks under my arms. I lost 60 lbs last year and although you can continue eating right and exercising there still skin stretching that can’t be worked away. I always suggest using lidocaine 30 minutes before you roll this on your face or body. You should apply at 30 minutes before you use needles on your skin for aesthetics. Make sure after your rolling session that you apply active worth the very least pure aloe vera gel. Put it on and do not rub otherwise it will feel like you are rubbing sand into your very tender skin. Read more

I’ve been thinking about trying microneedling for a while, and in doing research there are a lot of very impressive before and after photos. I wanted to try but I was afraid it was going to hurt so I just kept kicking that can down the road. I finally broke down and ordered this set and I’m so glad I did! I was happy that this set came with 3 rollers, each with different needle depths. There is the .25 for beginners like me, a .50 for later on, and a 1.0 for the more experienced. Each roller came in its own plastic storage box with the needle size clearly labeled on it, and each storage box was sealed in protective plastic. The rollers moved freely across my skin and rolled smoothly. I tried all 3 briefly on my arm to test the functionality and to see what kind of pressure I would need to apply. Turns out, you don’t need to apply much pressure at all. I sanitized the .25 roller with rubbing alcohol and washed my face and then I was ready to get started. Many of the videos I watched recommended numbing cream before using a roller, but I didn’t think I would need that since I was only using the little needles and I only intended to do a few swipes to make sure I didn’t have any adverse reaction. I used the roller all over my forehead, temples, cheeks, chin and jawline. I rolled each area 3 times and I didn’t think it was painful at all. I’m sure the bigger size you use, the more discomfort you might feel, but the .25 beginner size was comfortable for me. My skin was a little pink afterwards, which is what you want, and it tells me it was working. I’m going to go back and do it again in a week and keep building up stamina and confidence. This was the perfect little starter set for me. It felt like it was made of quality materials and I’m expecting these rollers to last a long time. I am looking forward to making this part of my skincare routine. Read more

These micro-needling rollers are just what I wanted to try at home. Each comes with its own transparent storage case marked with a sticker identifying the size. I wish the rollers were embossed with the sizes, but the rollers are not marked. The three sizes, .25mm, .50mm and 1.00mm, are plenty for me for working on different areas and different degrees of skin damage. The box has minimal instructions, see photos. They say to first apply hyaluranic acid, but none is included, nor is numbing cream. The rollers easily roll and require little pressure. To begin, I am only using the smallest needle roller and plan to intensify the procedures over time. I do not use any numbing cream right now and the discomfort is only mild. A micro-needling procedure always leaves my skin a little pink and irritated but it settles after a day or so. I have not seen any amazing skin results yet, but it is too soon. These derma rollers are easy to clean with a long soak in strong isopropyl alcohol. I have no idea how long the needles will remain sharp enough so am unsure about the longevity of the rollers, but needles dull with repeated use. I expect that to happen. Currently, these derma rollers look, feel and function like good quality. At $15.99 regular price for these three derma rollers, I feel they are a good value. Read more

Okay, I don't know how I feel about these. I do like that each one is individually sealed and wrapped, I'm assuming that's good. But it's a three pack and it doesn't really give you much distinction on the differences between these and how or where or why they are to be used. Since the kit says on it "3 in 1", it implies that each of these would have a different function and therefore you don't need to buy three different ones for all of your derma rolling needs, you would have all three here. Some of the pictures show people using them on their faces other people show them using them on their hair and they do look really sharp and I don't really now if I like it and they kind of scare me. I can't tell if the difference between the three of these would be location, I.e your face versus your hair versus your feet or something or if the difference is you start off with the small size and work your way up when you're more used to the pain or something like that. It's not very clear and they don't really explain that. I am sure that sounds kind of silly to more experienced people, but when you're wanting to get into something better and you're new to it and this makes it sound very convenient and you get this and.. there's no good instructions or explanations on how you're supposed to do it, it's very frustrating. So I would say these are a good option but maybe not if you don't have any experience in this. Read more

I used a derma roller to help get rid of a smile line and it worked after using it for a month. Derma rolling helps the skin produce collagen. I’m planing on using this on the areas so have stretch marks paired with a collagen cream maybe. Read more
