These shorts are cute and fit true to size. The quality seems good, the stitching is good, and they don't appear super see-through. The side pockets are a bit small for older children/larger sizes, in my opinion. I ordered the 2XL and I think the pockets will hold smaller things like chapstick without issue. However, something such as a phone seems like it would fall out with cartwheels or other types of active play - that is, most phones the size of a standard iPhone 13 or later do not seem to fully fit in the pockets, so any Pro, Plus, or larger version of a phone will really be too big for the pockets.
