As soon as my child bearing years were done I was left with a tummy that was hard to get rid of. So, I decided to find some not so maternity looking maternity tops and roll with it! I really like these VELVELHALL ribbed maternity tee shirts. In fact, VELVELHALL is a brand I order a lot! These tees are 70% cotton and 30% spandex - so lots of stretch. The colors are great — I got burgundy, green (which is more of a muted/khaki green), and black, and they all look exactly as expected. FYI: These tees are not breastfeeding ones like others from this brand. I’m a fan of the ribbed material and the scoop neck, which makes them easy to dress up or down. They feel very comfortable, but I do wish they were a little longer. I’m bigger chested, so that may be part of it, but it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer more length. I am not pregnant but this 3 pk of shirts was too good to pass up and they are a great fitting shirt to use as a solo t-shirt or a shirt to wear under something - great for layering as they are not too thick but also not too thin either. They come in a great assortment of color combos, which makes it hard to choose which pack you want - I am thinking of picking up another color combo as well. I did include a few before wash photos as well as all the ones for after wash, so there is definitely some shrinkage, but they are still very wearable. You will want to follow the size chart as it is pretty accurate, my usual letter size is XL but according to the size chart for this item I am in a 2XL. For reference I am 5'4", 195 lbs, 44" bust, 40" waist, 45" hip. Even though these are listed as a maternity shirt I do not think they look like maternity shirts, so no one else will know either. There is a very small amount of gathering on the side, but you really have to look for it. The ribbed fabric is great as it gives texture to your outfit, as well as providing a nice stretch to it. Really high quality, well made, and can be worn with or without pregnancy! Fast shipping, and the colors are as close to the photos as possible! True to color and true to size, I would say you could even size down if you want. I'm not pregnant but I hold all my weight in the middle so find these to be extra flattering to a variety of changing sizes so they are PERFECT for a pregnant person! Extremely comfy, has a good stretch without losing its shape, washes well, and the material is thick enough to not be see through even when stretched! Theyre SO SOFT!!!!! I can't explain how soft they are, and there appears to be very light ruching on the side (pictured) which is flattering as heck! The black is a VERY high quality, dark, crisp, true black color!
