Here's a trimmer that kind of works in theory, but in practice I found it somewhat difficult to clear everything, and sometimes the most egregious hairs out. My guess is, perhaps, my nostril zone is a lot more spacious that I realize, and it could just be difficult to extract all the hairs. I do however, think it works more effectively than an electric nose trimmer. You might spend a bit more time on it, but I find it easier to get rid of hairs than the short electric nose trimmers.
