These are actual skate quality decks with a smooth sanding. The sides and edges are sanded and finished unlike some other decks you can get for cheaper. I use them for art but have made a couple for actual skating and they have just the right size nose and tail for riding. I've always wanted to paint a skateboard for a project so now i got the chance! they're pretty big and got a lot of space for me to work with, While the wood does feel sturdy i wouldn't say these would be stable for actual skateboarding,since they do feel a slight bit more flimsy than a regular board to me so i'd probably recommend useing these for art deco. just gotta find a weekend to sand and prep it for painting now! I was so excited to find these. I was heavily into skateboarding in a past life and now I enjoy rolling around the skate park with my daughter. These are just what I needed to refresh an old skateboard and get rolling again. Unfortunately weather has not allowed me to fully test them out, but they look and feel just like the more expensive decks I am more familiar with. They seem like nice quality boards that will function as expected. Overall I’d say these are a great option for the old guys like me who want an affordable way to keep rolling. Read more

I got these as a Christmas present for my 13 year old. I think It will be fun to do a custom graphic design in wood burning. The concave and finish work is good. The wood used is a good cut and should be durable, and the dimensions are correct. Where I see the problem is that one has a slight twist and the other the nose/tail is off on both ends. These defects make it hard to tell if the drill holes for the trucks will line up properly. The third board seems flawless. I really won't know the extent of it until the boards are built after Christmas. Read more
