Problem: I wanted a modern update for my living room and needed a coffee table/foot rest. Solution: I found what looked exactly like what I wanted with this round ottoman. Impression: It is very heavy-duty. It has three wide legs that I had to install. The necessary screws and Alen wrench were supplied. It was not difficult to assemble, took about 10 minutes. Because the legs are short and wide the ottoman is very stable, does not wabble at all. The wooden surface is real wood. Mine arrived in perfect conditions, no scratches. I’ve been using it now for several weeks and it does not look scuffed or scratched so the sealant is good quality. When the wooden lid is lifted the inside is large and open. It fits at least two full-sized blankets or several throws. The fabric on the outside is thick and nice. How does it work: It works nice in my space. It easily slides over the carpet to move from one end of the couch to the other. I love the storage space. I keep mostly cat toys in there. Pros: This ottoman is beautiful. It is well constructed, sturdy. The wooden top has proven durable and easy to clean. It creates a soft, modern look in my room which is exactly what I was looking for. Cons: The fabric on the outside is three separate pieces of cloth and therefore there are three seems. So, unfortunately no matter how I position it there is a visible seem. Final note: This is a good option for if your couch doesn’t recline you can put a pillow on top and rest your feet. Definitely recommend. Read more
Such a great surprise for the price, looks really nice, fits our space perfectly and most importantly it is safe for our toddler who is running, jumping, and just not being careful at all. As I was looking for a new table as soon as my son started cruising around it was quite a difficult but this one just hit all the boxes. Soft and rounded so no worries about falling around it. It is sturdy, super easy to set up from the box, and the huge storage is just the cherry on the cake. This is a good sized ottoman- I easily fit 4 throw blankets inside. It looks sleek and the only “assembly” was screwing the legs on (<5 minutes). Overall I’m happy with it. But I don’t love the lid, for 3 reasons: - It’s hard to lift off because there’s no place to grab it. It’s not heavy- just awkward to get a hold of it. - You can NOT sit on it. I have many storage ottomans- many of them much smaller than this- and adults can sit on all of them. But I (65yo 140lb woman) sat on this briefly and there was a loud crack. I jumped right off and it’s still functional, but for how long? - The top is not reversible. I mean it is but it’s the same thing on both sides- there is not a soft option. I love our new ottoman/coffee table. The color is exactly as described and the quality is excellent for the price. I love the storage space inside. I store extra throw blankets and a pillow in it. The top is stable and good to put drinks on as well as a nice place for my kids to play with some toys. No sharp edges for my soon to be walking baby to bonk her head on. The quality is nice. Easy to put the legs on. Has held up well to my 4 kids climbing around on and inside of it. It’s a great ottoman. The VOCs are quite strong when you first get it so I might have left it outside to get rid of some of those smells if it wasn’t winter. But overall I’m very pleased with this purchase. Read more
