Good Quality Flints but Bolt Fit May Require Adjustments
These flints are the type that screw onto a striker hand mechanism. They appear well made, and the flints are long. Unfortunately, the female bolt on these flints was a bit larger than my striker’s screw end, so it sort of screwed in but never became tight and would probably fall off the striker when used. I was able to correct this by placing a small piece of solder into the striker bolt as I inserted it into the striker handle. With this, I was able to get the flint securely attached to the striker handle. When testing, the flint produced large sparks and remained securely fastened to the handle. If a similar issue occurs where the striker bolt diameter is too large for the handle and solder isn't available, a piece of wire from a zip tie or some Teflon tape can achieve a similar result. Aside from the fit, the packaging could be improved, as the flints come in a non-resealable bag. Read more

Good replacement for old striker flint
I have an old propane torch kit that I bought at a yard sale. I thought the striker was worn out or broken but it turned out it was just missing the flint.
