Overheated very quickly and had trouble accessing songs from the card
I really can't recommend using this player because when the card is inserted, it becomes hot very quickly. The directions even tell you not to insert or remove the card while the player is powered On. Bad things will happen. So we were very careful with the card, adapter, and player. It did charge up ok, and I was able to load a list of 388 MP3 songs onto the card from my computer. But then when you insert the card into the slot and the player tried to read the songs, it started to get very hot. Before it showed the list of songs, I had to pop out the card because I thought it would catch fire! So although it's a very cute little player, I wasn't able to test the sound at all. The headphone plug did fit into the jack. There's no wrist strap so it may be prone to getting lost. And the speaker is on the backside of the unit, so if you wanted to lay it down and listen, you can't really, because the speaker would be underneath.
