Made for an excellent intro to a handheld smart device for an 11 year old without it being a smartphone. Got it for Spotify but also has access to the Play Store for apps. Parental controls can be set along with time limits/down time. It is on Android 13 which is no longer receiving security updates so be mindful about the apps you download and consider some kind of added third party security. It is even able to play games like Among Us though it is a small 4 inch screen so have good eyes. Being so small means the keyboard is also small which makes typing difficult even for a child. Bluetooth works find and there doesn't seem to be any issues with speed. Unsure about the sound quality because I haven't listened to it but he seems happy with it. The touch screen can be hard to swipe sometimes especially if you're trying to swipe quickly, it likes slower movements. The AM/FM radio only works if you have the earbuds plugged in due to it using the wires as the antenna, without them plugged in the radio will not work. The camera is better than I expected it was going to be. Isn't going to win any photography awards but does the job. The battery life is decent but not great. It will last a few hours of heavy use and takes a while to charge but does have a power saver mode. Great for a kid trying to earn trust without the price tag of a smartphone if they lose it. No call or text without third party, no data. Came with a clear rubber case, a screen protector and ear buds. Read more
