I purchased these rain pants for a trip to Alaska and for possible future use if I got caught in the rain playing golf. Well it never rained in Alaska, however, I had to make use of them on a recent golf trip to Dillon, CO. I found the pants to be comfortable, well made, roomy enough to fit over my normal golf pants and were easy to put on and take off. I really liked the zippered pockets that helped to keep everything in my pocket dry and secure. The pants repelled the rain quite well and kept my legs warm and were light enough to carry. These fit normal in the waist and hip area. The general width of the pant leg is definitely wide. I have big legs. Normally most jeans/pants fit too tight for me causing me to constantly have to buy larger than needed sizes but these almost felt like MC hammer pants. Then I read the description better and noticed they are rain pants. I assume they are meant to be worn over existing pants or shorts during a downpour. They are well made and the pockets have zippers which is a massive plus. I will still keep these because they are so well made for the price. Read more
