So, I bought this coat because I was looking for something I could wear in the spring in the crazy weather we often get in OH and layer it with a thinner fleece jacket underneath if need be. This rain coat is the perfect shell - a windbreaker, a rain coat, and an all-weather type of coat. The fit was a bit loose but I was looking for that. Plenty of room all around. The sleeves are nice and long and can be adjusted with a Velcro strap at the wrists. The main zipper can be zipped from the top or bottom and it is smooth and of good quality. The cap buttons on the front flap are solid but don't have to fight them or break fingers to get them buttoned or unbuttoned. The pockets are good size and I can comfortably rest my hands inside. The material is thick but still lightweight. The seams are clean and seem well sewn. As soon as I knew I would keep it. I machine washed it on light cycle with cool water and it withstood the wash and the spin just fine. After that it took a 20 min tumble in the dryer and came out nice and clean. No tearing or unraveling after the wash/dry either. I love the deep navy blue. The hood is not removable. I appreciate that the inside waistband elastic is adjustable. It desn't seem very strong but that doesn't bother me because if it breaks I would just pull it out completely. Overall a great coat and a 💯 recommend. Read more
LOVE this jacket! I’m 5’11”, wider in the hips. This jacket is long enough to provide good length with room to wear a layer or two of clothing underneath. Great hood to provide protection in rain or wind. Totally love the color. Versatile as it looks nice enough to wear to a restaurant as well as the right protection to go hiking in the woods or rain forest. It is built well and yet lightweight enough to be durable and travel well in a backpack or luggage. Sure glad I decided to order this jacket. Read more
Stylish, well made and perfect length to protect you from the wind and rain, and keep you warm. The zipper glides easily and the fit is true to size. The only thing that would improve it would be to add arm pit vents to make it breathable. Read more
Color was a lot darker than I expected. I got the cream one and it looks more like a tan. Also a little bigger than I thought. It fits around my hips but too big everywhere else. But it feels warm and I haven't used it in the rain yet but the quality seems to be good and I like the pockets. Read more
Amazing Jacket! Just got it out the bag - nice weight to it, the details are very much appreciated (zippered pockets, interior zippered pocket, double zipper, adjustable waist, wrist band and hoodie). so much thought was put into designing this jacket. the length is just what I was looking for. roomy but not bulky. Im 5 ft 3 inches 138 lbs. I got a large and medium size. I kept the large. Perfect for me. I love how the hood expands over your head. All the zipper pockets inside and out are great. It's in the 40's and was warm enough. It rained today and I stayed dry. I can roll it up into my suitcase for a future trip to Europe. Read more
