The kit comes with both the plastic hair remover as well as a metal claw like grabber to get rid of other things. Our shower drain in our new hour has gradually worsen over 5 years. It was actually filling up. We tried multiple drain cleaner liquids but it didn't help. First tried the metal claw grabber. Was able to grab onto several hair plugs. Then tried the plastic hair removal thing. It worked okay. Also tried the plastic hair removal thing in the bathroom sink. It did a better job there. The metal claw thing worked much better in the shower drain. It was able to reach down far enough to grab a piece of cut tile from the construction. That was actually the main cause of the drain plugging up since it was about 2"x2". The length of both the metal claw and the plastic remover are long enough for most sink and tubs. They are both very flexible to go into the bends in the pipe. It would take a lot to break these things. Read more

Wow! I just saved myself a lot of money! Thank you, thank you. I avoided purchasing expensive drain cleaners, and or calling a plumber. This was AMAZING! Drano doesn’t really work well for my shower because the pipe goes to the side and not straight down, so hair gets stuck easily. Let me tell you, this took about five seconds to use and it pulled out a BUNCH of hair in a clump. I wish I was joking when I say it was like the size of a squirrel. I would have taken a picture, but it was too gross! All it took to get out was one of the orange strips. HIGHLY recommend! Read more

I will say that it’s works as needed. Used it to clean out the hair from the shower and it worked like a charm. My only gripe is the packaging. It was packaged in a box that bent all 6 of the Orange small clog removers in half. Trying to get it down the drain and make it move in the right direction was difficult due the premade curve from the packaging. (I included pictures of how it was shipped) I would have given it more stars except that curvature made an easy job 3 times longer. Read more

Was just looking for some disposable hair grabbers, but found the big pipe cleaners were a better tool for my sink (male) and the hair grabbers were better for my wife's sink. I didn't use the grabber, but nice little assortment of tools to clean drains and cheap enough to throw away when done and not mess with cleaning nasty sink gung. Read more
