Excellent dumbbell set. I ordered the 459 pound set. It’s such a relief to finally have the ability to lift consistently at home. The dumbbells arrived almost a full week before the rack did, so be aware that there might be some delay. As others have said, the handles are slightly greasy when they arrived. You can just wipe them down with hot water and a cloth if you want, but tbh they’re not greasy enough to leave any noticeable residue on my hands, and after a couple uses, the greasy feeling is gone. I ordered this set of dumbbells to keep in my truck. I’m a full time traveler and, as such, I don’t always stop at a gym in whatever city I find myself in. But always driving means that I don’t get the exercise that I need. Consequently, I decided to get these dumbbells and keep them on the passenger side floorboard within easy reach so I can use them for simple arm exercises while driving. I love the big hexagon ends because they stay put and don’t roll all over the inside of the trunk. They’re right there on the floorboard when I want them. Now I just need to remember to use them! I got the set of 10-lb. dumbbells and am really happy with them. They feel great picking them up, the circumference of the handle is perfect and fits great in the hands. The knurling on the handle is just the right amount to keep it from slipping while not being too rough on the hands. The rubber coating is nice and has held up well. I got the 5lb weights, and they are good quality. I have several pairs of 5lb weights, but these are much nicer and the center bar is longer, so they are actually easier to hold and use. The weighted ends are rubberized, so they are soft and don't cause dings or issues when put down on a surface. The center bar is comfortable to hold, which is so important when working out. I do feel that these are pricy, especially compared to the other weights that I have and use. They cost about 5 times as much. But I also feel that the price is fair for the quality, and these weights will last. For someone who is serious about working out and wants the best weights with a comfortable grip, I feel that these fit the bill very well. I find myself choosing this set over my other sets every time because of the comfortable grip. I also like the modern and streamlined look of these weights. Read more
